2012 BMW i8 Concept review

Building on the core design of the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept Revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show, the BMW Concept i8 is a very futuristic take on the idea of a plug-in hybrid sports car. The clear glass doors, laser headlights, and sculpted, flowing body of work marks the i8 out as something truly unique.

BMW's second-generation 1 Series Will be a 2012 model in Europe and continue to be the only rear-wheel-drive model in the class. All engines in the 1 Series are now with BMW's turbocharged TwinPower turbo - a single dual vane system That reduces turbo lag. Call your BMW dealer and demand for these cars.
The gas engine drives the rear wheels for a perfect 50/50 weigh distribution, but also allowing all-wheel drive Pls Both engines are working.

The BMW Concept 18 reminds me of Dr. Doolittle's Pushmi-pullyu. The sporty hybrid houses an electric motor located at the front of the car, while a three-cylinder turbocharged engine drives the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. The front axle is powered by a 129 HP, 184 lb-ft of torque routed through a single-speed gear reduction transmission. The lithium-ion batteries, the which supply power to the electric motor, are tucked into a central tunnel. According to BMW, the combo can propel the 3.250-pound vehicle to 62 MPH in 4.6 seconds; top speed is governed at 155 MPH. The aluminum wheels measure 19 inches in diameter.
